Hello Pulaski!

After 25 years in the warm and sunny state of Florida, it’s truly nice to be back in my home state of Virginia, where the rich and vibrant history runs deep. I’ve been away from the website during the last couple of months, as we’ve been getting acclimated to our new surroundings and setting up our lovely new house in Pulaski. This charming and picturesque mountain town was once an industrial powerhouse, bustling with iron furnaces, furniture factories, chemical plants, and textile mills. Relics and remnants of that previous way of life are still quite common here, and what’s been lost to modern development has been diligently recorded and preserved by passionate local historians dedicated to keeping the past alive.
